Wisnu studied engineering in Darmstadt, Germany, and spent years watching how Germans treat a guest in their home. German hospitality can feel beautiful because it is sincere, and unsettling because the warmth arrives with invisible architecture. When he came back to this house in Bogor, he realized what his parents built here was exactly that, just louder and with more food. Omah Bogor is a project to share the house we grew up in, and to let others feel what coming home once felt like.
